THE CATO INSTITUTE'S CASE FOR GAY MARRIAGE

The idea that gay rights is a "leftist" pet cause is a foolish one. As the armpit of America votes down gay marriage with a bi-partisan majority in the state Senate (tell me again how putting Republicans there would make it worse? It won't. IT. CANNOT. GET. WORSE.), and as the party of Slavery, Sedition, Segregation, Socialism, and Surrender attempts to force people to buy overpriced health insurance, it is becoming clearer to me that leftism is toxic to freedom in this and every country. When government increases its size, scope, and power, all people hurt. But Jews, women, and gays especially hurt. History is full of examples. Or do I need to provide links to remind you what the Nazis and Soviets, no small-government supporters they, did to us?

If I ever need to be reminded why I'm still registered as a Republican, I can look at the Democrat bigots and show that bigotry crosses party lines.

And when the American people finally stand up to the Left, we gays might be wise to distance ourselves from it before then.
